WHEE! I finally took the time to do an honest-to-God draganizing, and here it is; my very first attempt at the genre!

does that simply mean to make the photo look bad - gothic - wicked?
Or is this a specific / real term?
I supposed I should do a search but could someone point me to a link for explanation?

I'm guessing some freehand with the pencil/paintbrush as well as some liquidify and one of those plugins/actions for the texture and fire (eye candy?). Oh and heavy on the sick and twisted mindset. :P

Liquify, eye candy, xenofex and quite a bit of freehand. I borrowed the teeth from this guy....
