There are ways to get "selective desaturation" with basic rules...just a bit harder to do. Here is one way.

Whoo hoo... My 3rd challenge, and my highest score going yet... I finally broke a 4!
I so suck at this! But it's fun!
And the comments help me to know what I've done wrong.
With so few entries on this one, I wish the voting period was not so long.
There's a few superstition photos that I really loved. Good job everyone! |

Score has been slowly dropping all day, but the comments have been good. Always wonder about that combo. Anyhoo, hoping for a bounce.

Went to bed with 7 comments and a 5.5 woke up with 14 comments and a 5.7 O.O just keep on going up people seem to like mine >.>

Same here, I'm waiting for mine to be validated.
Boy, the scores dropped a lot after I got the validation request. My hopes now is that the SC validates the photo as soon as possible - to avoid further score drops. I think most voters will not bother to re-vote on those photos that they assumed wasn't done legally under basic editing... sigh |

Mine's finally been validated.
Now...with already 150 votes on it already, the damage has been done.
Lets hope the remaining 100 voters can help lift the score a little back up :) |

| Man so many6.somethings. I was hoping for a 6.someting but now i'm down to 5.5 :( I was told my photo would probabaly win even though it doesnt meet the challenge. Which is funny since most other commenters have said what a very well known superstition or legend I picked. but i'll take the compliment that it would probably win. not with the score it wont though. |
