I know this was a hard challenge to enter and vote. But I want to thank everyone that voted on my picture. Per a few comments, yes I knew it was a goose but I though the bokeh disk looked like disco lights and the only thing I could think of was disco duck. At least I thought I would make a few people look at it longer, saying "thats not a duck!"
Here is my entry


And here is my outtake. I liked the boken on this one better but the subject was so dull. When I saw this there was a Cardinal (red bird) perched on the top of the plant but flew away while I was getting into the correct position to for the boken.


I really took in account peoples opinions in the treads this week while reading many articles and spending a fair amount of time seeing which lens created what I perceived as boken. I think the work payed off.
