How do I open RAW files in PSE 4.0?
Do I have to upload them directly from the camera to there or how does it work? |

| Most likely you need to download the plug-in from Adobe's web site. |

You cannot open RAW files in PS unless you have PS CS2. You need to convert them using a RAW converter. There are numberous forum threads about RAW converters, try doing a forum search.

on the box it says "Camera raw file support" says you can fine tune exposure and lighting by working with the original raw date files from your digital camera.

I always open raw files from my Olympus cameras when I had them and also with the 30D in PSE 4. Most likely she doesnt have the latest version of camera raw that supports her camera.
