I had Panasonic LZ2 Camera about a month ago. Since I had that camera I took many pictures. It was small, I was carrying on my belt basically. Now I have a better camera. I love the camera it is Pentax *ist DL, but I virtually stop taking photos :/ I carry it with me all the time, but since it is big machine I can't put it on my belt anymore... and I just can't take photos here and there like I used to. I am also very afraid if I find dust on it... carrying it like an egg.
I am looking forward to weekends, sunny ones, so I could go out and take photos. No more "point and shoot" whenever, wherever...
Is this happened to you too? I LOVE my new camera and I want to take more pictures... I just don't know what happened besides the size issue :P
(Hmmm... Maybe it was too much rain here these days, that's why.) |

| I'm looking for an ultra-compact for just this reason. I miss the point and shoot whenever part. :) |

I get the question why I carry mine with me everywhere I go. I just show them my galleries or portfolio and they say wow where did you take that. Most of the time I just don't know the exact location. somewhere on the way to somewhere. Without having it on me I would never get the shots I love. I do have two bags one large to carry all gear and a tamerac exp 3 it hold most of the lens I use. and is small. The funny thing is I use mine more since I went back to SlR and away from point shoot.

It's like first time having a brand new car... afraid to drive it in the rain...
I don't want to buy another camera... I want to learn SLR more. My idea taking pictures is more than point and shoot now. I know time will come and I won't be that much afraid of using it...
I have to buy a carrying case though... don't have it yet :P
For those who never used SLR before, it is very exciting experience... I suggest you to try just for the rush :P |
