I did a bit of "experimenting" lastnight in both my kitchen and my bathroom(only room without windows). I experimented with colors, light and white balance. I got a small bag of various seashells from walmart and some very tiny lightsticks and set to work. I would LOVE to know what the general consensus of these shots are. The Sea set was created with some of Dax work in mind(I simply love all ofher work and want to be like her when I grow up...lol). The other sets are all me! Gimie a few lightsticks and something to stick them in, and Im quite occupied for hours!(please dont go there!) ;p
Sea Set:
Enlightenment set:
Virulence set:
Anyone leaving comments will get one in return! I would PREFER to hear what I could do to Improve these shots but a pat on the back is nice every now and then too ;) Please feel free to be completly honest with me...I can take it, Im a big girl! ;o)

wow! thanks guys. I will be returning comments all day!
Sherpet* I found mine at a gas station/quick stop. they are the glowstick kids like to put in they're mouths here. I havent seen them at walmart yet. I have also seen them in "bubblegum" machines around here. just gotta keep your eyes open. Im constantly looking at all the bubblegum .25 machines for toys for my woody, never know what ya might find lurking in there.
as soon as I get a chance i will be cloneing the black spots off of "Lava"...I agree, they look like crap there and will be gone soon.
*Hugs to eveyone that gave thier comments, now tis time for me to get to returning them |

very nice shots! i LOVE the 1st one! keep it going...
what you can do to improve the shots? humm, that's hard :)
anyway, a few things came in my mind:
- i love the bubbles in the first one so perhaps expermiment more with bubbles around/on the shells (-> soap)?
- a glowing shell reflection on the water would be very nice
- maybe fill the sink and try some shots with the shells underwater and ascending bubbles or so
concerning those tiny glow sticks: you can buy them in fishing stores (at least in germany). they are used by anglers to attract fish.
