I'm new to this site..joined yesterday, and was wondering if I can just submit photos somewhere and have people comment on them? Not in a challenge or anything...I would appreciate it if someone would let me know how I could do that. Thank you.

| As a registered user, you don't get portfolio space here on DPC. You can upload to other sites (there are several that are free) and link here in the forums, but IMO, you're better off spending the $25 to join. It's worth it if you're serious about improving and enjoying some great photos and camaraderie. |

Yeah, I would spend the $25.
Even though I have my own webspace and site with way more bandwidth and space then I need. I find it much nicer/easier to use this site in a self-referencing fashion, then to run images off my site to show to people here. |

I feel the same way. Additionally, I think a lot of people like commenting on pics here on site since our own stats reflect our involvement. You don't get that when you go offsite to comment on photos.
