I am reading through the archives, trying to find out if it is allowed to submit a photo for pre-validation and I can't seem to find a square answer. The archives lean more towards people requesting pre-validation to see if their entry falls within the rules.

I am confident my entry is legal. However, it looks like it may have some trickery/photoshopping behind it and I want to avoid low scores by people who do not vote as if it was legal.

(Edit) My questions is, can I submit a pre-validation request?

Thanks :)

If it looks invalid then it is probably going to be voted accordingly even though, my understanding is, you are supposed to vote as if it is valid until proven otherwise. I do not vote down for possibly invalid entries because it is not my place to validate. But I think most people like to see what appears to be great photography as opposed to great photo editing.

Good luck in people doing the right thing and have faith.

If it doesn't get the votes you want use it as a learning experience.
