Ok so I'm working on my new webpage, uploaded the files and previewed it. Lo and behold, it only shows up on one side as opposed to covering the entire page. What am I doing wrong? BTW, I have no HTML experience at all :( I'm using PS and Image Ready. I haven't brought it in Dreamweaver yet and it's still very much under development ;)
Any thoughts would be great.

2 words - SMUG MUG :P
Seriously, unlimited upload space, site builder that works great, easily customized, oh and print ordering on the spot - and you can keep your domain name. :) |

just a guess, but I would suspect you are using a template that is optimized for a lesser resolution than your (or mine for that matter) monitor. Find that part and change it and you'll be set.

notice your table tag:
< table id="Table_01" width="776" height="681" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" >
the width is set to "776". that means it is 776 pixels wide, regardless of the window size. If you want it to fill the whole window, set it to "100%"... but be careful, that could screw up the layout.
plenty of sites use fixed width instead of filling the window. you might want to leave it (at least until you get a more sophisticated web editor).

You set a fixed table width. A very simple fix is to put the entire table inside a tag and insert a background color that matches the dark gray. (bgcolor=xxxxx in the header tag, I believe).

Rikki, I had to restore my business machine today so nothing is installed yet. If you would like, I can fix that page for you. Just let me know

Edit, if you wanted the bottom scrollbar disreguard this post. :)

Hi Rikki,
Had similar problems with my site, and like you I had no experience of HTML. My Site- //www.mindseyeimages.co.uk
The way I fixed this was to start over (in FrontPage)and use tables with percentages in each column that add up to 100%. Now, no matter what resolution its being viewed at my site spaces itself (I hope).
Do a little search on using tables, it might help you out |

your page is still fixed width. You just made it wider. You need your width settings to be percentages instead of just numbers. For example, instead of width="1281" it should be width="100%"
