Hi all
Suggestion for a challenge...if it hasn't been done already or too recently...how about mailboxes? Here in North America they range from tractors to tole-painted boxes to beautiful, albeit miniature, replicas of the house for which they receive the mail. |

Unfortunately, mailboxes are not used worldwide. Here in the UK we don't have mailboxes (OK, some people do), we have letterboxes. They are holes in the door covered by a metal flap that is lifted to put letters through. Hence that would be a very regional challenge.

| i think a challenge like this would have to include all forms of letter recieving things like in door letter flaps lie was mentioned but also p.o. boxes. large apartment complex style mailboxes and like we have the metal box that screws into the outside of the house near the door too. there would be a lot of possible variation. |

Then the challenge could be called...
"Mail-/boxes/slots or letterboxes"
Description: We all get mail of some kind or another. Take some shots of where your mail ends up!

pls add special rule: no electronic mailboxes! :p
I dont wanna be looking at 2D snapshots of Outlook, Hotmail or stuff like that, LMAO |

Well I put it in the hat in Dec. 2005 but haven't seen it yet. I think it would be a good challenge. Here's the link to my post about mailboxes.
