This thread is dedicated to the members who have a high comments made vs. comments received ratio. These people are the bread and butter of DPC.

While some of us (like myself) are bickering or goofing off in the forums, they are taking the time to make thoughtful and helpful comments; for which, I am very grateful.

I'll start with a few that come to mind. If you have a few moments; pop in and leave them a comment. Their portfolios are really nice.

Please add others who have a 5 to 1 or greater ratio.

Jutilda 5.6 to 1 ratio

sherpet 7.6 to 1 ratio

pineapple 6.1 to 1 ratio.

I really cant think of anyone. Just having a 2:1 ratio would be fantastic.

Maybe someone can add some folks to the list, but I cant think of any.

I just talk alot. LOL Plus I probably have more time to do it. If I worked all day away from home, I wouldn't be able to do it, but I do enjoy it. Glad you find it helpful, Roxanne. THANKS.

A few others who come to mind are SJCarter, arsenal and philup although I didn't look up their ratios.

I think it would behoove us to recognize heather (HBunch) who has a 3.5:1 ratio and her influence and hard work have caused so many others to leave detailed Critique Club comments.

Those mentioned are definitely great at leaving comments however I wouldn't base it just on ratio. Not that this applies to me but some get so many comments themselves it makes it impossible for them to have a high ratio even though they may give out lots and lots of comments themselves. But yes I'm always getting comments from Jutilda, hotpasta, sherpet, pinapple and others so thanks again guys!

I haven't checked stats, but I know I get a LOT of comments from Hotpasta.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments...to tell you the truth, I didn't know my stats were so high...I thought Judy (Jutilda) would blow me out of the water. 9.6/1 wow!

I guess I have a few aims when it comes ot all of this...

1. I try to comment on all photos, though that's not really possible
2. I try to be positive and find 'something' special in images I comment on
3. Sometimes I'd rather say nothing than something discouraging, but even then, it may be helpful to comment on what can be better\
4. I am a loyal dpcer and don't really participate on any other similar site

Thanks everyone, I really enjoy being on this site.

Honestly I never thought about the numbers until now. For me they don't mean anything. I give comments because I like the photos, or maybe something to say about them... That's being "active" more than anything else. I don't mind receiving less... I don't think I would feel bad if nobody say anything about my work ;)

I must say, from the outset, Judy (jutilda) was an inspiration to me. She always has amazing things to say, and usually she is the first one to comment on images. If you look at most shots, Judy is usually the first comment. Thanks Judy.

It is really nice to get comments from you guys. It surely helps although It doesn't always show on my pictures :-)
