Does anyone have experiences about any of these stores to share?
I've finally gotten together enough cash to order the Nikon 70-200 VR :D

Never used/heard of any of those. I strongly recommend you make an important purchase like that from a VERY reputable dealer - like B&H!

Check them out at resellerratings.com.

Actually I found all 3 from resellerratings.com and they all have 9+ ratings; I just thought maybe the endless abyss of knowledge on DPC might have some unknown wisdom to help me make my decision.

Great website to deal with. I bought a camera from them and it was here quick.

I believe by brother-in-law has recommended Beach Camera to me, but I won't swear to it. Another I have used successfully, in addition to B&H, is Adorama.

I LOVE BuyDig.com . I have bought my last two cameras from them, as well as my L lenses and even my portable phone. Most often times have the best prices and free shipping. They ship REALLY fast.

IMO, they are my favorite reputable dealer. They now are the first place I check for items. I prefer them over B&H, Adorama, Amazon, and Calumet.

Some of their accessories are overpriced, however. I usually order them from elsewhere.

Remember that some of the companies out there may have similarly named store front but is not the actual company.

One place i've dealt with (besides b&h 9.28, 9.49 six months) that has a good rep is //www.uniquephoto.com - but check their prices, they are not always the cheapest. (9.17, 10.0 for 6 months) they deal alot with pros in the biz.

//www.normancamera.com has something i want, and for less than anyone else - their reseller rating is good too (9.14, 10.0 for 6 months) but i have not (yet) dealt with them.

yeah so I went into the BH manhattan 'superstore' today and the people were helpful and friendly. I got to take a lot of shots with the 70-200 VR and I'm looking at them now. So far I don't recognize a significant improvement over the 80-200.
