...and now my computer doesn't recognise the camera!
I tried to reinstall the drivers, but it says I don't need to because it's already properly installed.
I wanted to verify the new firmware version in ZoomBrowserEx, like the instructions said to, but no luck - my computer no longer recognises the camera.
Any clues, folks? Or is a hearty sob all that's left for me, now? :-( |

Grab all the most recent downloads for your camera from the Canon website.

Ok, not to worry. Whew! That was scary!
I uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted and everything is perfect. I finally have complete firmware update success. Nice. :D

My heart was in my mouth, I tell ya! Everything appeared to go well, right up to that one hiccup.
