We swap equipment. I don't normally do this, but I'm going to make you a deal, because I like you.

300D > 30D, but because I really like you, I'll let you have my camera for yours.

i have a better idea... my AMAZING 18-55 for your 300D. just because your deal was so nice.

That's awesome of you! But, really, I couldn't take advantage of you like that. :-)

how about someone just buy me the 300mm I'm still drooling over? Or another camera all together so I can buy a 300mm to go with it?

Olympus, Canon, Minolta. My father is going Nikon, and when he does, I'll pick up a Fujifilm.

I'll join, but you need to answer me a question first -

Before digital, in the film days, one could say "Got that on film" - now what is the term? "Got that on sensor" just don't work for me.

Just say "I got it." Show them the screen and then say, "Now, leave me the hell alone."

Absolutely!

I've owned and used Zenit, Praktika and Voigtlander cameras. I still have my Grandfather's Kodak Box Brownie that I last used about ten years ago.

In the past two years I've used most of the Nikon, Olympus, Rollei and Pentax cameras which I own. I'm still thinking of picking up an old Canon underwater compact.

I'll use anything :)

Nikon's better....

Better warranty on their lenses. They stand by their products more. And well, I have to believe they have better service than Canon. I mean, even Dell has better service than Canon. And that's saying something...and NOT a good thing.
