so does anyone have any tips for using the 50/1.8 or for me to improve personally so that i can do better when this challenge starts? anything that'll help? ive been using the Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4-5.6 IS USM for everything for a few weeks now. havent even touched the 50/1.8 i need to start getting better aquainted with it.

So aside from the challenges, what does the team stand for?

Do you stand for Truth, Justice and the American way?

Or perhaps you stand for Truth and Just Icin' a few 'Zoomers'...

Do you guys all have to use the 50 1.8 in all the challenges or just post something when you do?

Actually, I would love to see some cool 50mm tips or something... even though I don't know the secret handshake, I do have a 50...

what happened to leaf and spazmo this week ?

where are we ? what is our future ? so many questions, so little answers ...
well we all love our 50mm and AFAIK when WPL2 leagaue starts we have to use 50mm on every submitted photo in every challenge :-)

kinda S&M but who carez :-)

There was a trial run?!? I didnt know. but thats cool at least i had my best entry ever during the trial run. lol what luck! now to improve upon that but with the 50mm.

I just found the trial run thread and I saw that the scores will include the open challenges too well I have to apologize in advance for my framing score. it SUCKS (4.7 right now). sorry guys. :(

I suggest you read up on the rules of the WPL, thatÂ´s the beauty of the league, if you have two entries the same week, only the highest entry you have will count, also only the top 4 photographers any given week will count so there is no way you can hurt your team by entering a sucky photo :)

YAY!!!! I forgot about that. well thats good so far i have the highest score of all for shadows so i may still end up with one of the top four for the trial. woo hoo!!

I had some car problems so I was only able to shoot Shadows & couldn't reshoot it. But I have hopes for my Bokeh for next week. (crosses fingers)

i just noticed in the trial run - not one member of the 50 1.8 actually used the 50 1.8.
