| I've seen a few refernces to a brown ribbon in the forums but I cant see where or why it is awarded? Whats the story? |

| There is no "brown ribbon" per se, but the person with the lowest score (last place) in the challenge considers him/herself as the brown ribbon recipient. |

I'm a relative newbie here myself, but from what I've picked up along the way is that a "brown ribbon" is a fictitious award that is allocated to the person who gets the lowest score in any challenge.
Although I find it reassuring that the brown ribbon "winner" is always treated quite gently by the site veterans. There's nothing wrong with coming last - we're here to learn after all. |
