Ok, new thread, due to me visiting my usual forum place each and every morning. I visit "new up-loads" each and every day, to see what members are "up-loading" into their portfolio.
It is such fun, and nearly find so many images to add to my portfolio as favorites, or I leave many first new comments as well.
Today I was godsmacked, as Joe Daniels, or jdannels, has dedicated an image in my honor,
 called "Ode to Sherpet".....
Please visit "Joes" portfolio as it is great, and I am so homored to think he would do this small thing, as to me it is Huge.....
Has anyone else been honored in this way before..... If so add it here.

I have...on other sites...but never on this site. It gives you such a great feeling...I can relate to the surprise you felt and the elation you are now feeling. So enjoy it...you deserve it.

well, i don't think that has ever happened to me, but lesley goodman once made a painting from one of my images, and i thought that was really cool. pretty cool feeling, isn't it?

Hey Sherryl, I was hoping you would run into that photo at some point, I was hoping you would run into it when we are playing the pick the person above you game. I had been shooting at a local botanical garden and saw this plant and thought sherpet would shoot this. I see you all over this site and making so many comments around the site I thought I would it name it for you. I am glad you like it.

Oh I almost named a photo after StDavidson because I had asked what cactus this was  in this thread and said who ever could tell me what it was I would name it after them.
