Today I was asked to do a photo shoot of a mans dog. He has seen some of my work and wants to have some. I have never done a formal shoot though, so I do not exactly know what the pricing should be. I feel like part of the reason he wants to use me is because I am a kid and not exactly a professional, but I feel like my work is good enough to charge a fair ammount. (Also the guy probually spends a fair ammount of money on his dog conssidering he has 7 of the exact same collors just in different colors).

Try looking at other professional's website and get an idea of what they charge. Or you can charge what you want to. What is the worst that can happen? He says no.

oh btw...12 minutes isn't long enough to start yelling at everyone lol...calm down.

what's the guy want from the photo shoot? Because that'll play a big part in pricing. As far as a 'sitting' fee...whatever is reasonable for your time...

Then just go from the prints...if an 8x10 costs you $2.00 to make, charge him $10.00 or whatever.

Your post was about 1/3 of the way down...go to your My Home, Preferences page...and change this:

I think most people do that...it's probably set at 10 or whatever in the beginning so people don't feel 'overwhelmed' until they get the hang of 'navigating' the site.
