I was just wondering if the wireless remote for the 300D works on the 20D, anyone know???

Thanks!

I believe not. I think the 300d remote is relatively cheap and the 20d remote is like 7 times as much. :/

mk is correct. The 20D takes a different type of remote, the "N3" type. I don't know offhand the designation for the 300D remote, but it is a different animal entirely. The N3 remotes work with all cameras from the 10D on up to the 1-series.
There are actually two different N3 remotes. one is just a remote shutter release, the other is a timer/remote that really has some wicked functionality, but is, as MK points out, expensive.

I am really pleased with the RC-5 remote for my 300D. I just checked Canon's website and that remote doesn't work with the 20D. To find out what remotes do work with the 20D, check this page.

Edit, and the cheapest one is 70 bucks.!!!

Edit, but I got my RC-5 that's listed for 30.00 for 11.00 on ebay minus shipping
