I calibrate my monitor with Spyder. SmugMug, who my customers order prints through, offers there own (ezprints) icc profile.
Which should I use? Or am I talking about two different things here?

Hard to say.
So i profiled my monitor - it was a tad too red. 2 weeks later got a new one - the old was getting dark. it was a tad too red too. (all CRTs). canon's shoot the skin tones a tad too red...hmm? yep.
Before profliing my printed pics matched my monitor. they still do. 3 differnt labs. no printer profiling needed.
I started using a pro lab - i can CC or they can (for a fee). No probs, no color issues...
So i don't see much need for a printer profile for lab work.
For inkjet it might be a good idea - and different papers need differnt profiles from what i'm told.
I'd try a test print and see if it looks like what you want your customers to see.

Ok, I will just see what the prints look like. I ordered $140 worth of prints for my portfolio, so I HOPE how my monitor is calibrated is acceptable...LOL
I didn't read about the ICC profile for EZPrints until after I ordered.

$140! Jeesh. I have a hard time meeting teh $10 minimum order!

LOL! Realize that this is the first time I will see the majority of my pictures in print so this order was a long time coming!!! Also, many of them I ordered in 8x10 to 11x14 and those dollars add up quickly too :)
