America 24/7 Project
For ppl who may want to participate on this project.. I caught this on 'Screen Savers' last week..

"Professionals and amateurs will shoot exclusively during the week of
May 12-18, 2003. Their work will be showcased in 53 books, a TV special, a traveling exhibit, and an online gallery....bla bla
All photographers working on the project will own the copyright to their photographs. If one or more of your images are selected for publication, you will receive additional information regarding duties, payment and agreements. All photojournalists hired for this project retain copyright to their photographs."
Oh and you really don't need a highend digicam.. regular consumer digicams are fine.
I believe he said this was a digcam only contest.. so no film.

I intend to signup as soon as I get my gallery updated with journalism pics.. but then I tend to slack so.. who knows..
