Starting a new one here for everyone that headed up to Mt. Evans on Saturday morning. It was absolutely freezing when we arrived before 5am. But I am fairly sure everyone had a great time regardless of temp and circumstance. I will let everyone else post their awesome images, but here is just one from my collection, Enjoy!:

The group of brave souls enjoying the sub freezing temps!
It was a good time. I'm only posting this shot for now. It's Nappin time!
3am came early for me, what can I say. (:

Goats, goats everywhere! I couldn't beleive how close you could get to these guys. They'd walk right up to you. So I'll add a goat to the page. Still working on the rest of my photos. A lot of them didn't turn out from early morning. The wind was a BLOWIN! My cheezy tripod, even weighted down with my backpack, couldn't stop the vibration from the wind.

Had a great time today! It was FRICKEN cold! The goats were out in full effect! A lot of fun to shoot. Here are a few I took.

Finished processing my photos! The morning landscapes took some work, but turned out well. The goats aren't the best, but the babies are cute!

Well, I just want to say it was a pleasure to finally meet someone else from DPC. I've been on this site since 2003 and I am just now getting to meet someone in person. I certainly hope it doesn't take as long to do this again. Everyone one was really cool, and I mean that in a personality kind of way this time! We didn't spend a whole lotta time chatting but under the circumstances it was tough enough to keep the teeth from chattering. I like Karma's idea of meeting somewhere for drinks or what ever. Maybe a downtown GTG!
So, here are a few more shots that I managed to get through. I'm still working on a bunch more.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned that this has to be the highest DPC get together ever @ 14,264 ft. Yeah, we should get an award for that! LOL:)

Great shots. Next time, do one not so early in the morning, so I could actually go.

Yeah, maybe we could get a little gold Oxygen Tank next to our little author icons. Or maybe a climbers ax!

seriously, I always get light headed when I am up that high. I mean the summit of Mt. Evans is only 3000 ft lower than base camp of Everest. But that is amazing to think, because that is only base camp. Which by the way, if anyone ever has a chance to watch the IMAX:Everest movie, do so because it is stunning.

I was fine so long as I wasn't running around - then I could feel it! But then you saw how badly I crashed on the drive home. (No, I didn't crash the car - I was starting to get really drowsy, though, and Beau had to take over the driving.)
