Question out to anyone who uses it:

Can you save the current area that you looking at in a picture (jpg, bmp, whatever)?

Never tried it but I'll look. Screen capture if nothing else.

You can use the print screen to save the screen image to the clipboard and save it as whatever you want using Photoshop, Paint, or whatever imaging software you want. I'm not entirely sure if there is a built in function for it, but I'll go look around.

Edit to add: I'm too slow, but you can go to File > Save Image to save the current image.

A new feature called Panoramio that will let you see/upload pictures of the places you're visiting with Google Earth. Neat!!!
