I am looking to have some high quality large prints made. Does anyone know of a good internet site or company that I should order from? OR could you point me to a previous thread that discussed this topic?

thanks,

How large are you printing?

I understand BigPrints.com does a very nice job. I've met a man that works there and have seen a number of the images produced. They were gorgeous. Of course, it depends on the quality of the original image.

Shoot in Raw, exposure needs to be spot on, clear and sharp w/o over processing.

He also does his own side business with all of the same high quality equipment, more personal help and less expensive. PM me if you'd like his contact info. His canvas prints were exquisite.

I've used DPCPrints for sizes up to 16x24 and the results, from my 10D, were astoundingly good. These guys use very good quality control.

I've gotten great 20X30 prints from Shutterfly and if you watch they often run specials like 20X30 for $14.00. Its a good deal!

DPCPrints, but you might want to have it mounted at that size. Check out Mpix. A 20x30 is about $25, and the doubleweight matboard is an extra $13. Also, go for the "lustre coating" for extra protection.

I've used these guys before Photo Creative and have been extremely happy with the work and quality. Mind you it was paid cash and picked up but extremely happy with the quality.

Edit to add: The store is canadian and prices are as well.
