Just bought the SpyderExpress for $69 at Fry's. I haven't printed anything to test the monitor and printer combo yet though.

Seems to warm up the settings that I have had when I was using Adobe Gamma. There's a software upgrade from the site so I'm going to upload that, recalibrating, and try printing something.

All work well, get the express unless you specifically need the higher end ones. Most people don't have a use for or need the functionability of higher end ones...

I am trying a Pantone product called Huey. Too soon to tell how good it is. It is a hardware monitor calibrator with accompanying software. Further it continuously measures ambient light and continuously adjusts for changes in ambient light. I'll report back when I have a point of view.

I really like this. Installation was completely straight forward. Calibration was so simple even I could do it in about 2 minutes. It measures ambient light about once a minute and keeps the monitor calibrated for room light.

On a dual monitor set up, it calibrates only one monitor. So that's where I'll do my photo editing and voting.

At this point: Recommended. About USD 100 retail.
