Just bought the SpyderExpress for $69 at Fry's. I haven't printed anything to test the monitor and printer combo yet though.
Seems to warm up the settings that I have had when I was using Adobe Gamma. There's a software upgrade from the site so I'm going to upload that, recalibrating, and try printing something.

| All work well, get the express unless you specifically need the higher end ones. Most people don't have a use for or need the functionability of higher end ones... |

| I am trying a Pantone product called Huey. Too soon to tell how good it is. It is a hardware monitor calibrator with accompanying software. Further it continuously measures ambient light and continuously adjusts for changes in ambient light. I'll report back when I have a point of view. |

I really like this. Installation was completely straight forward. Calibration was so simple even I could do it in about 2 minutes. It measures ambient light about once a minute and keeps the monitor calibrated for room light.
On a dual monitor set up, it calibrates only one monitor. So that's where I'll do my photo editing and voting.
At this point: Recommended. About USD 100 retail. |
