Any of you Nikon shooters use a Moose Filter?

I guess I could have asked before I ordered, but I am curious who uses them. My daughters are on the swim team this summer and I am hoping that this will help me get some good shots. It should arrive the day before their first meet. Moose uses it for wildlife photos, but I think it will work for what I am trying to do. And it can't hurt my nature shots too.

The addition of a warming filter to the polarizer might be considered superfluous for digital. In any case, it presumes that you're always trying to slightly warm your images when the polarizer is in place. Under many circumstances, this certainly won't be a bad thing, and in any case the effect of the 81a is moderate.
I'd guess the swim meets will be indoors? If so, the light loss due to the polarizer is going to create an additional challenge in already challenging lighting conditions. Your f/2.8 lens suddenly looks like f/4.5 for exposure purposes, and you're trying to maintain high shutter speeds under marginal lighting. You may find that the "polarizer penalty" is too great to overcome. If the meets are outdoors under sunlight, 'nother matter entirely ;-)

Thanks for the feed back Kirbic.

The meets are outdoors, and generally the sun is very harsh. I took a few shots without any filter and altough the action was great, there were of course there were plenty of hot spots/glare.

I am curious regarding the "warming effect". If I shoot my white balance "WhiBal" shot with the filter on, will it cancel the effect completely?

Don't know about you...but I'd really like to have a photo of a moose. Why would you want to filter out such a beautiful and majestic animal?
