6.1MP Digital SLR Camera with DA 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 AL Digital SLR Lens
I am happy with my decision for now. I have checked many cameras with same price range, and this was a absolutely unbeatable for a SLR starter like me :)
I have a Panasonic LZ2 right now, but I am taking better pictures (I believe) and I had to upgrade it... Panasonic LZ2 served my very well... It is an awesome camera too :)
So, I graduated from "Point-N-Shoot" to "SLR" Class :)

Here is what it feels like...
Getting off a carousel, and getting on a real horse :P
Man, I have lots of learning to do... No more watching from LCD :P

| Congrats on the new camera! Good choice. I am sure you will enjoy it but it does take some getting used to having all those new settings now under your control! Keep that manual handy... |

I usually don't read manuals... this time I MUST.. I have to... there is no way I can get those blinking lights and numbers in the viewfinder, and outside the camera with my "try and learn" method LOL

..so I've heard... I am already planning trips to flee markets for "lens hunting"
:D
It is cool thing to know many Pentax users out there, and most of them are very pleased to have the machine :)
I did my homework before I spent the box ;)

I have sold my Panasonic LZ2 allready, and from now on all my pictures will be Pentax shots :) I am sure they will be stunning.

heh, maybe. It took me a few weeks to get used to an SLR again, and the particular quirks of Nikons, I'm feeling my stride now though. :0)

Ok... Here are the very first shots from my new Pentax. Manual focus and auto everything else for now. They all macros, and I am very happy about the results for now :)
