Good morning,
I regret to announce, that due to higher than anticipated bandwidth usage, the DPC Fanatics Chat will be closing two weeks from today.
Please note: DPC Fanatics chat is a fan-run chat and is not in any way associated with DPChallenge. If you'd like to visit the chat in the meantime, you may do so from the link above for two weeks from April 1.

it's about time. the people that hang out there are a scurvy lot, as likely to stab you between the eyes as look at ya ;).

That's true, Karmat. Now that I'm a member, I have 2 (sometimes 3) challenges a week to shoot. More shooting, less shooting my mouth.

how about we start one on an irc server? sure we wont get the cute faces, but atleast we'll have a place to chat :) i'm already on 3 irc networks at the same time :P if people are interested, maybe we could suggest networks? i'd say either dalnet or efnet (the third one i'm on is a smaller private network).. though i'm not opposed to the idea of connecting to a 4th network just for DPC :) (Mirc supports multiple network connections, so it just adds a few more buttons to my channel bar)

doh, i pity you.. though if i had irc at work i wouldn't get ANYTHING done :P it's incredible how much of a time waster it is hehe.. but i'd still like a place to chat with my dpc buddies :P

Most web sites are wise enough not to make announcements like this on April 1st - if they are serious, that is.
