Good morning. Good evening, or good night, depending on your time zone. Here is my question and i figure that someone will have a good answer.
I recently took pics for my cousin's wedding. He is from California and his wife is from Ohio(about 2000 miles away). I would like to be able to share the 250+ pics with her friends and family and give them a way to contact me for ordering prints.
I don't really want to use a commercial account. I would like to be able to upload a couple of galleries and give my pricing structure and contact information. I do not anticipate any huge sales volume but I think it would be easier this way than proofing books, CD's sent arround the country, etc. Preferably low to no fee for the gallery hosting ;)
Any suggestions? A google search reveals some possible options but does anyone have personal experience.
thanks in advance,
mark

Pbase.com might work for you. It's free for the first 10mb but not very expensive after that. |

Smugmug has a shopping cart but orders won't go through you. See my referral number and link below.

I initally thought i would run them through me, but... maybe it would be easier to organize orders and collect the $$ with a service like smugmug. |

If you choose to go that route I would do a few test prints on your own to make sure your calibration works with their printing. That way you don't have to worry about the prints your customers are getting.

Output consistancy was a concern of mine as well. |
