How do you link to your portfolio? I noticed the url for the portfolio is a .php, which I thought meant it was a dynamic website. Then I looked at the url for Mr. Seltzer's portfolio in one of his posts and it has a user id number in it.

Any suggestions?

Use a link like:

//www.dpchallenge.com/portfolio.php?USER_ID=3290

where the USER_ID number is your own (the above is mine). You're correct that portfolio.php will dynamically create a page containing your portfolio. By passing in the USER_ID argument, you tell it which user's portfolio (i.e. yours) you want it to create the page for.

Partially as a test to see if that works. Had to log out to find my user ID (I'm number 6999!). Also to make the point that you need to put url in square brackets before the link, and /url in square brackets after it. If you put it in your signature it'll turn up on every post (but you knew that).

Pinback - those 'Milton Keynes' shots are magisterial. Fabulous. Not like any bit of Milton keynes I've ever seen, mind you. Great work.

Thanks for the url tip - I didn't know that (I'm new).

And thanks for the kind words on the Milton Keynes shots - there'll be more shots of the area to come. Those two shots were taken in the Cathedral of Trees. I've lived in MK over 16 years and I didn't know it was there until about a month ago.
