Well, I've given people lens advice but now I need some for me. I have to admit that I cannot get nearly the quality of images on my Point-n-shoot that I get from my DSLR ...
So I'm looking to for an all-around lens with both a wide end as well as a zoom and macro.
Apparently this lens exists. Anyonw have any thoughts on a specific 18-200mm lens? Anyone have a better idea?
I'm looking to replace my 19-35 with more range. I love that lens but it's frustrating since I'm sorta shooting spontaneously much of the time. |

I just purchased the 18-200 Nikor VR f3.5 about 40 days ago. I took it off the camera once to take some macro shots with my 60mm.
I like the 18-200. Even if you get one w/o VR, I'm sure it will be a perfect walk around lens.
