Please tell me I am not the only one who has dreamt about DPC! Last night I dreamt that the next challenge was "Mallard" and I was thinking what a boring challenge that would be to vote on, seeing picture after picture of ducks with green heads. LOL

So, tell us what dreams you have had about DPC, or photography in general if you're normal and not weird like me, dreaming about this place. :)

I dreamt that I took a picture of a woman's back and made it look like a violin. I got a bunch of comments telling me that they were giving me a low score because they couldn't see her face. Then the phone rang and it was a lobster. "Hello, Dali!"

ok... so I didn't really dream about dpc last night, but I could have!

A few nights ago I dreamt that I was on holiday with my family in Fiji. We were at a posh restaraunt with big leather chairs & couches for lunch and I put my camera bag down next to my chair.

We finished lunch and went on our way, but after about five minutes I realized that I'd left my camera bag behind. I went back and was relieved to see that it was still there by the chair.

But to my horror, when I opened up the bag my camera was gone, and so was my second lens. But whoever took my camera replaced it with a beaten up old film camera. My dream was so vivid, I could see little white flecks of some sort of food crumbs in the nooks & crannies of the old film camera & the junky lense that was on it.

What a terrible dream! Luckily for me, one of my daughters coughed a couple of times & woke me up. I got up & went to her room to check on her & give her a kiss for saving me from my nightmare.

:-O

Since I stopped shooting for Challenges most of my DPC dreams/low scoring nightmares have dissappeared.

I now dream of lenses, noise levels and cropping...

During the recent Textures challenge I had a very high score going into the final 3 days. I kept dreaming I would be DQd on some technicality!

Placed 4th with my lizard!

"Boring? BORING? Boring my butt!! What were you smokin' before you dreamed that up? You try sitting on these damn eggs and then tell me about boring! I think you humans are boring, always coming around with your stupid cameras." - Molly Mallard

Posthumous - After reading your lobster dream you shouldn't analyze anyone for a while! But maybe you can help with this recurring dream I have involving whips and ice cubes. That's all I can remember for now.

Your hubby is extremely cool! My wife would have been dead worried if I started hallucinating about DPC. It is enough for her that I plan our vacations around photogenic places. (fortunately, there is always something else good about those places, except e.g. arizona, utah etc. not a fun place for kids in a middle of a desert).
