Very easy to navigate and quick to load. I would suggest having an area that tells what you are about. But well done on a great start.

I like it, just not the font... for some reason, white fonts on black BG give me that weird optical illusion dizziness, maybe try different font, or try embossing it or something... everything else looks good to me, of course I also have a high resolution screen.
sweet portfolio too! |

Lovely site. Not too simple, definitely not cluttered. That's good. I agree about the fonts. Should be something more stylized than arial-like fonts. Perhaps an italicized helvetica or something in a light script.
To add? Maybe an "about the photographer" and definitely a form on the contact page that will make it really easy for visitors to tell you what they think and what they would like.
Forms are simple. If you'd like I can send you a really easy script that I can help you setup.
Good job. |

That home page looks wonderfully classy!!
However, once you go into a gallery, I can't find any navigation buttons other than "back", I couldn't simply move onto the next photo.
There needs to be a slideshow option, or at the very least a "next" button so you don't have to go back for every single photo, then click onto the next one. |

On second thought, I'd move the 4 thumbnails on the homepage over to the right, which would balance it better with the smoke on the left. |

Wow, the site looks great. I have been working on putting one together for myself. I'm not done yet, but I have started. I agree with everyone else, I think the white arial font needs to go. Jazz it up a little or have a little fun with it. Afterall, it is at the top of the page and everyone is going to see it. Here is the graphic I plan to put on my web site when it's done.
It's pretty simple, but I'm also afraid it might be too much. Anyway, good luck and I dig your web site. Nice photos too!
Cheers,

Looks good, but I think I'd get rid of the smoke-background in the portfolio-section. It's a bit distracting I think.

Most important thing I noticed, no menu. When I go into the contact page or galleries, I have to click on back to get to the main page again and then go elsewhere. The smoke somehow is messing up the text, and it becomes difficult to read. Your email address written in red looks bad. Never write your email as text. Web crawlers will find your email and you'll get tons of spam. Make that a jpeg instead.
The contact button should not be right under your name. It seems as if it is more important than the rest of the site and your actual portfolio. First I wanna see your work, then contact you.
Write something about yourself also. Preferably on the main page. The smoke is taking up too much space. Seems to me that you decided on the smoke and it's size before, and then built the site accordingly, cause on most pages there is a lot of blank space.
Move the smoke to one side and make it smaller, and integrate a small simple menu on the side.
I hope you don't mind me saying all this. Just want you to have a kick-ass site so I had to say what i felt could be improved. Very nice images u have on the site. Take care. |

Okay, I've taken some of your advice and did some redesign. The new link is here. All advice is appreciated.
