Great work...now when do we get paid?
I'd say reassign them, the worst that can happen is someone get's two critiques?

Personally I'd leave them at least until the rollover day. The reason I say this is I know I personally will pull a critique and if I want to mull it over I may let it sit 24 hours while I visit a few times during that day to get my full thoughts into trying to do a critique and getting ideas on how I would make it better given the same editing conditions. I finished the one I pulled yesterday this morning then went to pull another and noticed that you all had already taken them. Dont jump to conclusions that these images wont get done.

Great work on keeping the queue down, indeed. Kudos to HBunch for keeping us all on our toes, to D&L for improving the process, and to everyone for doing all the heavy lifting.
I find myself still in the same uncomfortable place, personally; I spend 20 mins or half an hour on a CC critique, and 4 of my last 6 show no indication that they have been read, even though I sent PMs to all the shooters. I find this very discouraging; that's a LOT of effort to put into something that apparently is never going to be seen or acknowledged...

You read my mind Bear;) Many of the critiques I have done go unchecked..sometimes I get emails thanking me and even they don't check the helpful comment box!! I think many new members have no idea the box is even there let alone what to do with it:)) So I comfort myself with the thought that I have given something back to DPC even if it is sometimes missed by those that request help. Or perhaps I just suck at critiques;)

I read them. All of them. So don't for one second think that your critiques are going unnoticed or unappreciated.
I will leave the photos assigned, but could everyone please check to see that they have completed all photos they have drawn? There are still 14 just sitting there. Thanks. |

How come now that the queue is empty when I go to the Critique Club page it doesn't tell me how many I have done and give a sample? It just says 'check back next week'??

makka -- i don't know. your personal stats should be up towards the top left (I think)
edit -- mine don't either. i guess it sorta goes into a state of dorminancy until the rollovers.

Yeah! Wierd....it used to come up with my profile pic and say I've critiqued X out X photos etc.....plus a sample of someone elses critique below it! Now its just nothing?

I think the stats only show up when there are photographs waiting to be critiqued. When it's down to zero then it has the generic message.

Well, tonight is roll over, and there are still 8 images assigned. Here in a few hours, I will be releasing those 8 images so we can get them done.
