| Maybe you could donate it to a local school or something for a tax write-off...? Not sure what they're worth though, guess you could check ebay for comparable ones... |

Definetly a good idea. You would probably get more this way than you would selling it since very few people are looking for film equipment these days. |

As somebody who works for a local school, I can pretty much guarantee you they won't take it. It would take up the space of two or three digital editing stations in their digital photo/graphic arts lab.

Schools (non-college) have digital editing stations? Man around here they're still using equipment from the 70's!
I need to more to where you're at, pull a Billy Maddison and go back to school!

My school (which is representative of the other high schools in my area) uses all digital for all yearbook and design graphics courses. They have a classroom with a few dozen G4 and G5 macs running photoshop, a couple of various inkjet printers, etc. Nobody has processed a roll of film in years. Film and processing is expensive. Once you pay for the cameras, computers and printers, paper and ink are the only expenses. Digital is sooo much easier, schools are switching fast.
If you look in most schools' attics and storage closets, you'll find lots of equipment like the pic of the enlarger. Schools are looking to dump stuff like that, not to accept donations of more.
Just my .02 from my corner of the world. |

I'd say it's worth about $50 for the lot.
I put an ad on a local photographers web where I was asking for enlargers, I've been given 4 whole darkrooms with enlargers, lights, and everything else needed in a darkroom.
nobody buys used enlargers anymore, it's so easy to find them for free.
