Ahh....I think you're right. I forgot about that part of the discussion here (haven't read all the contest guidelines myself). I was feeling sympathy for your Canadian parks being left out and just wanted to point out that there appear to be contests in your "neck of the woods" as well. Then I said one more thing and blew it. Oh well...par for the course. (Guess I'll go sit in the corner with Rex now.)

I agree, Canada has some very beautiful parks...and it looks like Canda has a few contests, too! (Of course, you could always visit the pretty places the U.S. has to offer...)

Google Search The first hit Ontario Parks contest is even giving away a Pentax *istDL!
=)

As a side bar... you may wish to read the rules governing the canadian contest, and compare those to the american contest.

You will note a stark difference relative to the ownership of the image submitted, as well as some other rather interesting legal entitities regarding your submission to the canadian contest.

Personally, even if I did have a good image of an Ontario Parks' location, I think I would pass... but that's just me.

The deadline is September 30...the same day I fly back from Colorado! I may still have a 'shot' at making the 11:59pm deadline if I hurry!

I didn't even know that there was a National Park or Monument near me until I looked. I'm gonna go here this week and see what kinda shots I can get.
