Does anyone here know how to put the simple viewer photo gallery onto a website? I thought I was pretty computer savvy until I tried to do this!

Which part of the instructions are you having problems with? They are pretty simple. Any error messages? |

Do I have to download that Picassa program?

No. You do not need Picassa.
Basically, instal the software, FTP your files to the folder you'd like them in, then run the script they provide and it will add them to the viewer.
Drop me an email @ peroty@gmail.com if you have any more questions. I set this up for a friend a few months back. It's a little convoluted but once you get it, it's easier. :-) |

You don't have to, it's just one of many ways of using the program.
This page covers different ways you can use the program. As you can see there are a number of options including a "SimpleViewerAdmin" that will give you a web interface. You can of course choose whichever you like.
As for what to do with your original download you're going to want to unzip it and upload that to your web server. What you have to do next depends on how you want to administer the gallery. |
