Hello,

36 hours ago I was asked to send in my "original" file for the Green challenge. It has been 24 hours since I sent in the file.
My shot is currently displaying this:

Status: Thank you for submitting your proof file. Your submission is being reviewed by the administrators and is pending further action.

The last three requests were usually deemed "ok" within 24 hours. How long does it usually take?

It depends, but you should give us 48 hours after you send in your original. Not everyone is online all the time, and sometimes it takes a bit to replicate certain processes or effects.

I wouldn't worry if I were you.

Thanks...I know it is a legal shot. I'm just worried that if one person thought it was bogus then my score may be suffering. My scores suffer rather well on their own thank you!

Hello,

My image has been validated but it does not say so on the image page. Did the site stop putting "this entry has been validated" on the page?

I thought it was good to put this on here for two reasons:

1. Stops others from requesting DQ.
2. Lets others know that this "unusual" photo is validated and fair.

I may have jumped the gun and the text will be added later.

Comments?

I belive you have to have 2 requests for validation before the confirmation is posted.

...and in between the 1st and 2nd request, all the passive-aggressives are giving you 1's :P

Hmm, so what's the official word on this? In a previous challenge, no validation note was placed on my image and I was told it was because there was only one dq request.

I'd like to have the message on the shot but really don't mind. The score has been inching up higher than I expected so I'm cool !

Sounds like a good question to clear up. I always thought that you could use this text/link (available when you open your own active challenge entry) to get the validation message applied:

"Do you feel that your submission might receive some disqualification requests?
If so, you can request validation for your image."
