When you graduate from Chico State, you become a Chiclet, right? That's something to look forward to! And congrats on the grades, you brainiac femme!

ha! Redding's only a few hours away! cool
as for the car insurance, it does lower it, but not by as much as I think it should, come'on, A students are lower risk drivers, right?
and chiclet, that just makes me giggle; chiclets remind me of Mexico where a ton of children are always around trying to sell them to you, it's so neat to give them 50cents or a dollar (U.S. currency) and see the look on their face before they all run off with that smirk like a couple of puppies before you can take back the piece of your sandwhich you gave 'em ... if that makes sense |

A students should be higher risk drivers, so much knowledge in their head they forget how to drive.. hehe
yeah, i know.

though, really, I'm sure there's probably no correlation, except maybe ability to stay focused... :) |

True but car insurance digs good grades. :) |
Oooh, that's right... I wonder if a 30 year old half-time student qualifies...

I'm only familiar with State Farm and for them, you have to be under 25 and enrolled full time. And even that availability depends on the state...not all states offer it. |

yeah, I *think* with geico, I have to be a dependent of my mom's on her insurance enrolled full time under the age of 24 |

Hmmm... I reread that three times and I still think you said you are giving Mexican children a sandwich and love to see the look on their face when you take it back.
Maybe you should rewrite it in Espanol. ;-) |

Great show, take a lot of effort to get grades like that.
I just graduated with a 3.16 and I was pretty happy with that...
My one friend was one of 5 people to get a perfect 4.0 in a class of about 4000 people... I'm so jealous haha! |

yeah, I've met people like that, and then I come up will all sorts of explanations to compensate for jealousy, like they must never have a life or their life is just driven by doing hw. :) |

Hey, imagine being the younger sibling of someone like that! My big bro won an award for being the first one ever to ace a particular math course in uni. (and I flunked math 12!) |

And THAT, minus the clue to joking, is the response I used to get from my dad when I was in elementary school, hence the fear of failure and at least part of the low self-esteem today.
But seriously, Amanda, can you please do better next time? ;) |

I just wanted to drag this thread back up because fall 06 grades just came in...
I thought I was going to flunk a few classes, but I guess that's how the teachers always like to make you feel :P
anyway -
Employment Law > A
Managing Innovation and Change > A-
Managing Project Teams > A-
Assessing New Business Oportunities > A
Operations Management > A
Environmental Ethics > B+
(haha, I guess this looks bad, but what'd you expect from a business major)
I also took Corporate Finance (A-) and Human Resource Management (B+) this summer.
I've managed to get my GPA up to 3.44
and I've only got 5 classes + an internship left to complete this spring and I will be graduating this May --> YES!!
Then it's BOAT-TIME again - yay! |

Way to go Amanda!! There is a lot of work involved in attaining your degrees, and we're happy for you... now hurry & go party some more before this next semester begins!!!
(I feel for ya - working on my own Bis Adm degree, but taking a couple semesters off while my wife finishes her studies.) |

sweet - don't let that long break get to ya - the longer you're away, the harder it is to go back I've seen |
