hey everyone,
i somehow ended up with tickets for the U.S. open this year. And im totally lost as to what the rules are for shooting PGA events..
any help is helpfull :)

Back of the tickets should give some info (fine print).
I'm not sure but unless you have credentials, I think you are only allowed camera's on practice days, not actual tourney.

You can only take your camera for the prctice rounds and the Pro-Am but they are banned during the 4 days of the actual tourny.
I took my camera for the Pro-Am a the FBR open this year FBR Phoenix Open |

You can never bring a camera to a PGA event on an actual tournament day. However, for most PGA events fans may bring cameras on practice days. You should check the website for the US Open. It will have a FAQ page that should let you know if you can bring it on one of the practice days.
Also, leave your cell phone in the car. If you bring that in accidentally and then someone sees you with it, you will be asked to leave.
