Was just wondering if anyone has ever done
the "Nadia Comaneci" thing and gotten an overall 10
as a final score for a challenge? |

I don't think anybody on DP has done that. I've seen a few photographers get mid to high 8's...but that's about it.

She was the first gymnast ever to score a perfect 10 in competition. In Calgary, if I recall.

She did in gymnastics what Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean did in figure scating in 1984... |

Calgary had winter games in 1988, this must have been Montreal, 1976. |

Was I the only one to think this was about posing naked with a snake? Didn't she do that?

She actually lives very near me. Bart Conner built a gymnastics school in Norman, Oklahoma and they both live here and teach. I have run into them several times.

I'm guessing that's impossible but I could see an image get a 9 average one day, if it's totally original and made the cover of Life magazine or something. :P

One of several right? Also, the cheap score display they had at the time couldn't even display a 10.00 so it showed it as 1.00 |

Yes. She received seven 10's in Montreal. While suffering from sciatica. So I suppose it would take seven 10 scores from a mostly blind photographer to qualify as the "Nadia" thing on DPC? ;-)

I smacked my knee against my desk earlier so lets pretend that covers the sciatica. Now I just need to work on the perfect scores... :P |
