Whether you live in Europe or North America or Asia, the date today is 666. My thinking is that it is like a Friday the 13 on steroids. So what happens today? End of the world?

well, kinda funny....I have never seen one of these moths before, but it has been sitting on my deck post since about 6 am...it has 6 small body segments, and 6 spots on the wings. 6-6-6

don;t we have bigger and better things to worry about?

Like why the leave that red ring around the bologna?

When is my camera coming back?

Why did they ever try and market green ketchup?

Wasn't the (abbreviated form of the) date the same 100 years ago? And 200? And 100 from now...and 200, and so on...no biggie.

You all are nuts. Today will be a day just like every other day.

And yes, we do have lots better things to worry about--my guess on the ring around the bologna is that it's there to DEVOUR OUR SOULS.

New Grandson born yesterday, daughter was really worried he might be 06/06/06 baby.

Yeah, by the numbers, Armageddon should have happened 2000 years ago. The hysterical masses forget that there is actually a "2" in the date.

And by the way, the calendar was realigned by Pope Gregory back in the 1500s when he decreed the world should skip directly from October 4th to the 15th (if I recall the numbers), so everything got all screwed up then, too. If it were going to happen in this century, it would not be today. ;-)

Well it's all over already in South Africa. To be quite honest I forgot about it for most of the day, but even if I had remembered it I would have been more interested in it as a numeric curiosity than anything else.

My only memory of something out of the ordinary happening on a Friday 13th was getting 100% on a maths exam despite feeling unwell that day. After that I've seen no reason to worry about a stupid thing like the date.

not only that but the catholic church found a math error in the 15oo's that showed the caledar was actually 4 years off. Instead of correcting it though (and causing mass confusion) they just let it go though. So 06/06/06 actually happened in 2002.
