For heaven's sake, woman, use your imagination! (wink)

If I did that, we'd lose all sense of spontaneity, now wouldn't we? Remember, I'm senior on the force, I work undercover (as it were)...

Senior...yeah right. Maybe on the outside. Or is that how you want me to look at you...old and fragile...should be treated with care and not subjected to the naughty side of life...!! Hmm..now how boring would that be?

I do believe you're missing my point; think in terms of "rank hath its privileges", that sort of seniority, dear...

Reminds me of the time we were shooting a building in downtown Portland, Oregon, and there was this disheveled man standing facing the wall, very close to it, determinedly banging his head against the wall. We asked him "man, why are you DOING that?" and he replied; "It feels SO good when I stop..."
Feel better yet, dearling one?

Cue music, set lights to "mood", pour Cognac, and declaim:
...But love is with me now, my hand on hers;
one reassuring touch, and then withdrawn.
And I can steer more surely for her sake
through coral barriers into the dawn
which now, with glimmering radiance, brings to view
the palm-fringed mountains, and the turquoise strip
of water over the white sand – and blue;
deep, sapphire blue, the waves about our ship.
It's so.... inspiring...!!!

Plus, down in your corner of the antipodes "coral barriers" and "sapphire seas" are definitely something with which you are familiar...

You're welcome to sail the sapphire seas and brave the coral barriers with us, Harv... We may require the services of your yacht, however :-)

R. | Daniel's got a brand new yacht, and he's pretty senior. Guess we could invite him along.

VERY good idea. So let's put this in perspective... Daniel's in the Chesapeake area I believe? Eastern Seaboard anyway. So picture this, DPC:
Bear and Harv and Daniel (Graphicfunk) all loading up on Daniel's lovely little yacht and sailing her literally halfway around the world so they can pay their respects to Dame Judi and take her for a jaunt around the Indonesian Islands and the Great Barrier reef...
Sound like a plan? We could probably pull the whole thing off, including the return trip, in 10-12 months, allowing for some R&R along the way.
