Glad you got it going Beetle, the reset button basically Clears Cache, deletes the IE temp files and may have reset some plugins.

Is your spyware program (dat files) up to date? BHOs (browser helper objects) aren't always good guys, and up-to-date spyware programs will catch em. I might run a deep scan with a spyware program now.

I updated both virus and adaware definitions and deep scanned both - nothing showed up.
But again... thanks for the tip.
