I was thinking it would be neat to have some statistics on the ranking of photographers, in addition to those that already exist. I am thinking about the following (for example):
Overall Photographer Ranking by:
- Average score of all submissions.
- Number of times the photographer has "won" a ribbon.
- Number of challenges entered.
- Average score of top 5 or top 3 submissons....
This would be neat to complement the existing "favorites" rankings! It would also give people an opportunity to strive to improve their photography & rankings based upon some additional statistics.
I'd be interested in seeing other people's thoughts on this, and what stat's folks want to see. |

I think that this is a really neat idea. I know that you can look up who your statistically favorite photographers are in the favorites section, but I am sometimes surprised by the results. What ends up happening when I find myself in that position is that I go back over the entry history for different photographers. It brings up appreciations that I didn't realize I had.
So, to have this on a site-wide basis seems like a really good idea to me.
