I am having some problems with my pictures looking pixalated once they are uploaded into simpleviewer on my website. The photos are saved for the web with the quality being aroud 100 to 120kb. The photos are sharp and are not pixalated when I look at them on my computer directly from my desktop. Only when the are viewed on the web.

I use SimpleViewer 1.7 on my web site and I haven't had a problem. I saved my images at 640 pixels at the widest side and at about 150kb (like a DPC challenge entry size). Maybe try a slightly larger file size?

It's resizing your images...that's your problem. You may have to go in that one file and edit your max size...or just keep them under your max size.

If for example the max size is 600 pixels, and your photo is 610 pixels, it really screws them up.

You are using maxImageDimension="700". but the pictures on your page don't seem to be that large, so I don't think its a problem with resizing

your right about that, but the problem was the constraind proportions of the website was constricting the photos to an image size of 500. So I just resized all my photos to a max with of 500 and it fixed the pixalation.

I've always wondered how to get this simple viewer thing to work on my website...I just don't get how to put it on there!
