Thanks for sharing the link.
I have been doing alot of thinking lately about what type of photographs I like and why.
2 of the photos stood out for me more than the others.
One of them is the Breaker Boys 1910 by Lewis W Hine and Migrant Mother 1936 by Dorothea Lange. I am currently asking myself why did I stop and study these ones more than the others. What was it in my brain that made me stop?
I will let you know the answer when I know the answer (if anyone is interested of course)
I feel like the blind fold has been taken off my eyes and I can see. Where have I been all this time.

[personal opinion]

Nice collection of famous photos that did impact many people but did any of them change the world? No.

I know what you're saying but if they impacted so many people they had to change the world somehow. Maybe not the whole world, but a change.

Also it is a very western-centric view, culturally speaking. But given that it is published by Life Magazine I am not surprized.

thanks for sharing the link. These are exactly the type of photo we should all at least try to aim for. I find these sort of photos the most impactful - maybe someday we can see the likes of it in DPC (we can always dream, cant we?) ;)
