this is one bad ass cat !

i took a few photos of him while at my parents house this weekend in connecticut. it's the neighbors cat - which they found as a stray in middletown, CT. this cat hunts 24/7. i didn't get too many shots - as another cat came by and mister extra toes went ahead and chased it off.

curious on how the editing looks.

thanks all !!

i got the look out of him ( in the first one ) by snapping my fingers over/in front of my head.

in the second i snapped my fingers down toward the ground.

the last few times i've seen him he hasn't been so mellow, nice enough, but not mellow. i think the heat might have been a factor.

i'll try to post a couple others later.

thanks again

one other so far... took me 5 hours to mow and weed whack and power rake the lawn. only 25% power raking... pooped... beatles...

the editing for all involved adjustment layers for:
curves
color balance
brightness/contrast
hue/saturation - selectively

some adjustements applied only to background via a mask.

some burning and dodging used.

I think they look very good. I particularly like Polydactyl Cat III.

EDIT: i was hoping to get an image of the cat 'using it's power' so to speak. he didn't cooperate all that well.
