I've never been effected that bad, but did have a few years where every spring i'd get some affliction - no doctor (could/would/wanted to) diagnosed it - best guess was either 'dry inner ear' or some allergy (as it occorred every spring the allerfy is my guess).
apparently you have small hairs inside the inner ear, and fluid. as yo umove the fluid swiches about and touched the hairs - and this the brain uses to decide which way you're pointed, moving, etc. if the signals get crossed, you get motion sickness, dizzyniess, the room spins, etc.

The only remedy i was offered was an excersize - sit on the edge of the bed, feet on the floor. lay over to the side, when the spinning stops, sit back up. then go the other way. this is supposed to re-train the inner ear hairs/brain. it certainly helped.

I'm curious, what's your doctor's diagnosis? What's causing (caused) the dizziness? You're only 25 years old.

Hmmm, doesn't seem like much testing, but I'm no doctor, and Iceland (I think) is a very advanced country, so no worries. I hope you have a speedy recovery.
