I've thought about what impact these mini-duels have done to folks who have participated in it and I have to say, it's brought out the best in everyone.
shaileshivyas for instance has been the Most Improved Photographer. His average of 4.7399 has been raised to 5.2321 in a matter of weeks thanks to his WPL average of 6.0838!
Kudos to to Idnic. You may not realize it but she inadvertently started this whole thing in the Square Crop challenge. She dared me to go head to head which spurred a rash of mini-duels since.
Special thanks to Southern Gentleman for following through with the WPL in partnership with TomFoolery, Club Juggle for the MS Walk Challenge, and of course DrAchoo for his League of Death.
It's been a great season guys and we're all looking forward to the next season ;)

Aweeee well put, Rikki. I've also noticed that since the tourneys started the average participation has gone way up too. Perhaps impacted by those of us in Leagues who don't want to miss a single challenge for the sake of our teammates. Either way it has been fun so far. I too look forward to the next rounds.
BTW - you are still my arch enemy! :P

| Thanks to the WPL and my teammates who invited me, I entered 9 challenges I otherwise would have ignored. Hopefully for the next round, I'll be entering consecutively with good entries! Thanks to all... |

There is a down side to this! Before I entered LoD2 a six vote would increase my average, now it reduces my average (but I can live with that).
